Gravity

Gravity!
You keep us rooted to Earth
and stop us floating into space
yet you act unkind
so cruel in other ways

Once fair maidens truly hate you

They with downturned mouths
battle valiantly everyday
but can only ever delay
gravity-afflicted epidermis
from being dragged south
stretching and morphing into
pendulous bosoms
sagging upper arms
droopy eyelids
and jiggly jowls
